The recommended temp is 21c in living room and 18c elsewhere in house and that not really warm but I try to stick to that

  • According to an article on the BBC:

24C - top range of comfort
21C - recommended living room temperature
Less than 20C - death risk begins
    18C - recommended bedroom temperature
16C - resistance to respiratory diseases weakened
12C - more than two hours at this temperature raises blood pressure and increases heart attack and stroke risk
5C - Significant risk of hypothermia

It got cold here last Saturday and needed to test it. Monday it was properly cold.

We can control it in each room, so on background in less used rooms and whatever we need in the ones we do use.

I'm also thinking of running around the house to see if I can find any hot water or heating pipes that are hidden from view that arent insulated and adding some insulation.
