Still holding out :rotfl: OH is usually moaning about it by now but not a peep out of him , but we are in the South and It just does not feel cold in the house.. I am hoping this is down to the half price cavity wall insulation that we had installed in the early summer...... :T

  • Had the heating on last night and the night before - couldn't cope with Mr Pincher's moaning any longer :D

We came home tonight and he asked me why I had left the heating on. I said to warm the house up for when we get home. He was impressed! Actually I haven't put it on at all hehe He hasn't mentioned being cold at all tonight! Maybe it's all psychosomatic - because he thought the heating was on he felt warmer!!!

    Hi

Have managed to refrain from turning the rad's on just yet.

Mind you, we do need to move the children's bunkbed to get into the cupboard.

Don't know how long we will last.

H will probably give in when I am at work one evening.

Still no heating on here and not because I am tight !!, but there really is no need for it. We have had some lovely warm days recently which have lasted into the evening. My kids have loads of friends and they usually all gather in my lounge, so with up to 10 children in there in the evenings and all that body heat, there is no need for additional heating. One thing I have done though, is changed the childrens duvets, they are now using the winter ones as the last thing I want to happen is them to wake up and feel cold in the night.

it`s almost tropical here again. 20 degrees and I`m wearing light summer clothes. It rained a lot last night and it has just turned grey but it is still very warm

I feel for the people who might be starting to get worried about flooding

    it`s already started in swansea
