How are you getting on with your wee visitor?

We actually got some really nifty snap traps in B&Q a few years ago that LOOK like computer mice, with a rounded top, all enclosed, so you don't see their wee heads with the tongue hanging out the side when their neck snaps. :rotfl:

The back is like a wee butterfly clip, so you also don't have to touch them to get them out of the trap, as you just pinch the clip at the back and drop them into a waste bag.

I can't find the ones we have online, but if you do a search, there are some on a similar theme. Search 'Tomcat snap mouse trap' and they come up either in kit form (with an attractant gel, but peanut butter does the job just as good) or in a two pack, for about a fiver.
  • And are you getting your car fixed? Is the insurance covering it?

I could lend you the Bear, he is a serial killer extraordinaire, much along the lines of Dexter, except his specialty is mice. One more wouldn't bother him in the slightest...

Dexter is the name of one of my cats, but I suspect he's afraid of mice! :rotfl:

His sister (from another mister) is a terror and rips them apart. I almost hope that the mere presence of cats now is enough to keep the wee meeces away because I know how they'll meet a horrible death if they come in to our house. There will be no instant end like with the snaps. :(

Hi Never too Old, I have been reading your blog but I think I am doing it wrong as I see to be going backwards in time instead of starting at the begining. Right now in my reading you have just had your ex daughter in law move far away.

I hate the HMRC. I refer to them as "THEM" I have found them to be a completely disagreeable organisation to work with. It seems incredible that a person can WANT to pay thier tax and be Willing to pay the tax on a regular schedule to clear it and they still send you scary post. Awful!

My blog isnt light reading for sure. They sold my OH debt onto a third party even though it was being regularly paid.I think this is why we are having all these horrible problems with them. Are you paying them off monthly?:)
