walking and running is free so very mse.!!
my gym is £15.99/mnth and now that I am doing my own manis and pedis plus shaving my armpits and legs and not waxing, (although I still get my moustache and whiskers threaded off £3) I still have a net savings of about £30 a month x

Hello dear friends,
It is Friday afternoon and I only have to work until 730! So excited!!
I plan on being very mse and not buying anything but essential food (all homemade nothing special) reading and enjoying the comany of OH, going to the gym, and redecorating the lounge.
Our fantastic tenants from the last 3 years in a flat we own have given their notice to Move back to Singapore. That means I need to save every cent because the flat will need to be painted and new appliances and a new kitchen fitted (it is tiny so not really super major) but I reckon the whole thing will be about £2,750) I am happy they are getting on with their lives but will certainly miss them as tenants.
What does everyone think of martin Lewis for selling this site to moneysupermarket?
I am just glad he has created this place for us all to meet each other.
So I am of to update my signature to add a special savings line to try to get as much of the money I will need raised for the flat refurb.

Hello Friends,
I hope you have wonderful plans doe the weekend.
OH is at the garage getting the tail light brake light and reversing light fixed on the car. As the car has like 400 miles on it, I suspect this should be free.
In honor of the Queen, I will be sticking to my diet today so I wont be a new subject who is fat. Have been to the gym, showered, picked up the lounge and will commence the redecoration of the lounge after lunch. Since we already have a huge vat of magnolia, magnolia is what it will be (also very mse!)
Concurrently I will be changing the bed. This activity usually happens on a Sunday, but with the long weekend, no reason to not treat ourselves to clean sheets.( ha it sounds like it is a yearly event)

Hi NewLeaf, just having a quick catch up.
Bum about your tenants moving out. We went through the same thing early this year and it is quite stressful if you need the rental income to cover the mortgage etc. We were lucky, our old tenants left the house looking just as good as the day they moved in seven years ago so we had new tenants in within 2-3 weeks, but if you've got to fit a kitchen yours will take longer. Can you get in to measure up/order stuff/book tradesmen while they are still there to save any delays?
I didn't even know about Martin Lewis selling the site until I read your diary. Sounds like he got an awful lot of money for it. It doesn't look like it will affect the forums and as long as we get to keep our diaries I don't really care either way!
Hope the decorating is going well xLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

I don't think the site being sold will make any difference to the forums. He does say it won't on his FAQ bit of the announcement.
Well done on the weight lost by the way you're doing really well.
