Phew thank goodness for that, although I'm sure the shouting wasn't fun.:(
Everyone makes mistakes , although I hate messing up at work, who doesn't ? I made a spectacular mistake one year, booked a client into a particularly expensive hotel, secured the Presidential suite, booked the flights , arranged for the Limo to be waiting to collect them and take them to the hotel. He was due to propose ,so champagne, flowers all the works were waiting in the room. The trouble was , I made the ridiculous mistake of booking the flights to the wrong airport completely. The Limo though was at the correct one ! How on earth I managed it I dont know as I had organised similar trips a thousand times before.
I realised the day before they were due to fly thankfully , couldnt get the correct flight for love nor money . Panicked spectacularly, then calmed myself down, arranged a meeting with the client and fessed up to my mistake. We had known each other a long time, he just smiled, shrugged and asked me to book him a rental car to drive himself between the wrong airport and the hotel and cancel the Limo. Instead I arranged for the Limo to meet him at the wrong airport and the Company paid the difference, they just had a three hour journey each way rather than the 20 mins it should have been ! My boss never discovered my mistake thankfully as I would have been out on my ear , as he was one of our most important clients.A member of an extremely popular boy band at the time ! He could have had the most spectacular tantrum such was his nature, but instead was calm as cucumber. I even got a bunch a flowers when they returned.
Anyway enough of my rambling again, sorry to hear she is off sick again NL, hope work this evening isnt too stressful xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Oh Darling, had I known earlier today that you were under so much pressure I would have urged you to consume many calories of the chocolate variety - I would have considered it medicinal. Did you know that Robin has joined our slimming club? That should keep us on our toes eh love?! Chin up, what's done's done - you are a treasure and your employers are lucky to have you xx0
