remeber that some sa's will try to get a sale right away or cliam they dont have any so just say something like 'well i really would have to try it first with my skin, thats a shame coz they looked perfect but im just no sure...' and turn as if youre goign to walk away. 9 times out of 10 that gets you soem freebies! ;)

youre all so luck those of you who live within travelling distance to london. im thinking of taking a trip there as a business trip to get a load of samples to sell on ebay, i wonder if id make my moneys worth though. how long do you reckon id have to stay to do all of the big dept stores and shopping centres? :)

Well oxford street all the way to Totnham court road took me a Day because all the stores and all the boots have the beauty counters, Brent cross has fenwicks and jhon lewis plus large boots all under one roof, half a day i reckon and harrods and Harvy nics near each other lots of counters a weekend could do it i reckon. I was thinking about doing it myself how much do u get for the samples? i dont know if i could bare to part with them...

it depend on teh samples and teh time/whose on ebay etc. ill give you an idea from some lots that finished today (these are excluding postage):

    lancome mascara sample £2.71
    5 decleor samples £3.40
    5 lancome samples £9.50
    10 perfume samples £6.21
    2 ysl make-up samples £6.55

    these were all free :)

i cant think that a coach to london and a cheapie hotel would cost that much compared with what i could talk myself into for free! :)

this chrimbo pushing of samples is without vouchers too remeber, 'i wonder if my firend would liek taht for christmas, do you have a samples she could try...?' etc.

remeber also to go to as many chrimbo shopping evenings as you can, most tickets cost between £3 and £5 and the goodie bags are always worth more and you can always claim your money back against a purchase and do a very sucessful tour of all of the counters getting tonnes of goodies you eouldnt normally get! :)

and open cards, expecially at debenhams theres lots of 10% off days comiung up and most other cards give an interductory 10% off day or week plus a goodie bag (if this isnt automatically offered, remeber the sa's get a commission for opening teh cards so dont be afraid to ask for some samples before you sign on the dotted line!), just pay it off and never use it again if you dont want! most are worth while holding on to for card holder events and you can get mopney-off and free samples vouchers in your mailings too, especially with debenhams. :)

yeh totally agree with freebie junkie. about one year ago, i opened a store card in hof (since they could offer me 10% off on the day and i was buying quite alot of stuff from their dior conunter), the lady then gave me a full size nina ricci shower gel and lotion.. and my mum loved it!

i was surprised, not knowing they have that kind of samples/ giveaway back then, i think it is all depended on the SA. they deff do have stuff to give away though if u sign up with them. i have never used my fraser card after!

now i understand why she gave me the stuff-- to thank me for the commision!

i used to work in a shop that had store cards we got 10% back of eveything the person bought in their first transaction when we got them to open a card and teh person who opened teh most in a week got a prize :)

Do they do a credit check when you get the card?
