oh and one last thing: john lewis on oxford street- yday i visited their eve lom counter and asked for samples, SA was very friendly and handed over a few of their rescue mask samples. they come in little pouches and they are very very good. retail at £25 for a small tube for about 10 use. one sample- £2.50!!!!
Many thanks for the info michica!
As you may have read in my previous post, I also had an unpleasant experience in HoF London yesterday. Some SAs are just so pushy, and don't realise that such an attitude is likely to put off many customers.
I also told OH what you said about the so-called Biotherm 'bonuses' - which most of us get for free, thanks to this fab thread. Many thanks to all its contributors :A'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -
Just a short note to add that, if you haven't done this already, you can now visit the Lancome counters to get free samples of their latest fragrance 'Hypnose'. I know this from an advert in the latest issue (December 2006) of InStyle magazine.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0

Got the Lancome sample today - apparently it's for the over 50s. Oh well, my mum will be pleased, especially as the nice man in Selfridges gave me four samples! In a Den first, Theo Paphitis has been getting business information from a talking tree.0

Yes it is for the over 50s. The SA handed me a sample reluctantly, and only after I mentioned that I would give it to my mum.
Well done for getting 4 samples :T'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0
