I usually print this page to keep as Debenhams updates it every month.
You're a star, many thanks for this!
I always feel a lot better knowing that I've got the print with me, and can present it upon request - you know how 'unpleasant' some SAs can be.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -

It would be fab if anyone did- Story is gorgeous.
Anyone got any tips on getting good freebies from perfume/beauty counters?- they always seem to give me samples of the products I'm buying (which seems pointless- surely they should try and convince to buy another product by sampling it)Currently unemployed (redundancy) but in control of my finances and hoping to get a new job, start a Masters course and save up for a house. A tough challenge but MSE will get me through it.0 -

Hope you had a fab trip.
Tokyo was fab, especially for freebies. I got tissue packs (about 30!), sweets, bath gel at every corner of roads for advertising purposes. My hotel had baskets of freebies at the receptions (soaps, comb, razors, toothbrush+toothpaste, matches, etc) + there were lot more in my room + a computer with free internet connection lol. There are free make-up sponges at every cosmetic counters
These are a few I can remember. I think I came back with more freebies than things I bought! :rotfl:
I really liked the toilets! heated toilet seat and functions to sprinkle/spray warm water (adjustable pressure) after you do your business + blow dry LOL
Now I need to get back on track here0 -
You've got me dreaming: truly hope we'll be able to visit Japan... one day. I imagine it's an amazing clash of cultures. There are so many things to be seen in this world...
Ooops, off topic for a sec.Back on track now. Once again, welcome back. And see you soon on this thread - and on many others, of course. :A

I went to two lancome counters first lady said i couldnt have it because i wasnt old enough, then when i said ill give it to my mum she said she had none left. I asked for head office number she then produced two samples of other products, she was so rude. 5 min down the road in boots, lancome counter, lovley lady gave me the sample no question and three others plus the purfume sample. It just show you how much it depends on the sa.
i do have adobe reader, it was just acting up, i got it to load today- go figure?!
it definatel;y depends on the sa, some are horrid and some are lovely. id be much more inclined to buy off teh nice ones. i use lancome make-up, i never buy it at boots in manchester or john lewis in trafford centre coz the sa's are so stingy about giving out samples in exchange for coupons, i buy from debenhams and kendals coz the sa's are lovely (on the lancome counter- not so much teh perfuem counter in manchester debenhams!!!):T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
look out in debenhmas at the moment for the card leaflets about teh lancmoe gift, on teh back it says you can get a free sample of the new fragrace at any counter, i grabbed a handful hehe!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0
