I THINK YOU MIGHT BE BETTER OFF TAKING TEH PACK AND YOUR RECIEPT AND TEH EMPTY SACHET (I ASSUEM THAT THEY WILL BE ABLE TO TELL THAT IT WAS EMPTY BEFOERE YOU OPENED IT COZ ITS CLEAN INSIDE?) TO A LOCAL CHANEL COUNTER, THEY WILL EXCHANGE IT AND I THINK IF YOU MENTION THE HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE LADY AND HOW UPSET AND ANGRY YOU ARE THEY WILL CHUCK IN SOEM EXTRAS TOO. (OOPS sorry for caps must have put them on by accident and for some unknown reason you cant uncapslock things!) what a frosty cow, i cant imagien how she got her job!!!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -

freebie_junkie wrote:p.s. the cllique foundation voucher, i tried it all over manchester and its no longer taken as teh foundation month was october, theyre on to a new night cream now but wont give any samples out for nothing unfortunately
Indeed they won't.Went to London today, and unfortunately didn't have time to visit the perfume counters. I only went to House of Fraser because they were having a "10% off day". I went to the Clinique counter, and kindly asked one of the SAs about some samples of their new night cream - a 1ml would still have been great, as I really want to see how this cream works, and regret the fact that I haven't been able to visit Debenhams for these samples, where they were still available.
The SA told me they did not have any (fair enough, since I knew the night cream sample offer had only been run at Debenhams), but then became very persistent: 'But don't you want to buy it today? It's 10% off, you know?' The SA went on like these for a couple of minutes - now that's really not an attitude to atract me, as a potential customer. Of course, I left without making a purchase, and so amazed by the SA's hard selling tactics. Oh well...
It looks like many of us have had some bad days recently. Chin up freebie, :kisses3: chin up Julie! :kisses3:

thanks for bobbi brown workshop information. too bad they dont have one in milton keynes.
i was in HoF in london yesterday, since they had 10% off their perfume, i got the marc jacobs perfume and their candles. having spending £55, i thought id asked SA for other perfume samples, at the end she only gave me ONE issey miyaki homme sample. i got 4 issey miyaki last week in the same store, with my free voucher from here.
the SAs there was very pushy about the purchases yesterday, i think they do make commision out of it so fair enough, went to estee lauder to look at their bronzer and the SA was all nice and tried it on me, i told her i will think about it (it is nice but £30!), she walked off immediately and approached another customer. how rude was that.
i think we have been very fortunate to have all these printable samples linksso that we can just pick up our examples for free. my friends bought a few box sets from biotherm yesterday, and they only offered 2 mini size samples which we could obtain anyways with our online voucher. oh and in their biotherm XMAS gift set, along with the moisturiser or other bits, they have like small bottle of clarifying lotion, or shower gel (like 15ml) which they recalled to be a BONUS (a bonus for paying £35 for that box set?). i have had those BONUS given to me for free in the past.
neways just wanted to talk about it here... some SA bs too much! especially when ur in london.
oh and one last thing: john lewis on oxford street- yday i visited their eve lom counter and asked for samples, SA was very friendly and handed over a few of their rescue mask samples. they come in little pouches and they are very very good. retail at £25 for a small tube for about 10 use. one sample- £2.50!!!!
thank you anyone who contributes to this and keep this up!!!0 -
