Went into Manchester - House of Fraser: None, Boots: none left (the SA said they only had about 60 to start with), Selfridges 3 left!!! Luckily i got one but if anyone buys this mag just for one of these I think they may be disappointed. Whats the point of making a big deal of this offer then having none of the items!!???
I went into Kendals on Deansgate for mine yesterday, as Selfridges and Boots had none. Kendals said they had just got another delivery so they still have plenty available if anybody else is looking to get theirs. They also booked me in for a free make up lesson next week which was nice0 -

selfridges in mancheter is all out, they had 2 left and gave them to me and another lady who came in just as i was leaving.:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
i had a bad and a good day yesterday. i managed to get:
10 clarins samples
8 perfume samples
a deluxe lancoem perfume sample
2 clinique 3 step boxes
a clinique eye shadow
i also bought some face wash and clarins had a really good gift on, i spent £28 on two washes and got £60 worth deluxe samples and a bag and another 5 mins towards my treatment (nearly there!)
then, it all went wrong when i went into debenhams to pay my card off. they lady called me forward as i bent down to put my bags on teh floor and she started serving teh lady behind me over my head even taking her over to the perfuem display to sell her more stuff! then when i said that i should ahve been served forst it all kicked off the other customer accused me of thinking i was more important than her and the two sales assiatnts who were there were really awful, really rude shouting at me and everything, tellign me id insulted teh other customer and i was an attention seeker i nver raised my voice or said anything nasty all i said that coz i was first in teh queue i should be served first (not coz i think im more important!!) and i hadnt been served first i think coz the sales assiatnt gets commission for selling perfume but no commission for taking card payments. she kept saying sorry but in that way toddlers do. they wouldnt get a manager at first and also claimed that debehams has no phones or customer service so i couldnt complain. the lady one told me to go and that i was just trying to get her in trouble. finally a manager came over and he sent everyone else off and sat down with my in the cafe. i was crying and shaking i was so upset and embarrarssed. he was really good and asked me if i would put it all in writing and sent it in an email to him. he also gave me a £20 gift card and invited me to come back for a pampering day. teh lady he brought over to book teh pampering day is one ive bought a lot of stuff off in teh past and shes really good and friendly. she booked me in for a facial, make-over and promised me loads of pressies too. she asked me which lady it was that upset me and when i told her she pulled a face hehe! i finally felt better after that but i still couldnt belive that theyd been so horrid. but mega props to the manager coz he really took it seriously and sorted it all out for me!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -

Oh, poor you!I really hate stuff like this. I had a confrontation with the girl on the Benefits counter yesterday over that damn magazine offer (that offer's beginning to sound a bit too good to be true) and ended up having to leave because she said what she had been told was right and I said what I thought was right and neither of us would budge. Now I'm going to have to spend this afternoon writing a complaints email. *Sigh* Sympathetic thoughts to you - I'm glad you got it sorted.

poor you too, sounds horrid, itsnt it awful when they try and embarrass you and talk to you like youre rubbish coz youre not making a purchase from them (a freebei in your case, an accoutn payment in my case- i wonder if she was really miffed coz the accoutn payment was from when i bought some lancome stuff and not stuff from her counter!!!) i wrote teh email out in word so i could use my speaking spell checker and it was 3 pages! i didnt just complain though, i said thanks too to teh manager and the nice woman who booked my pampering. good luck with your complaint. in future if you have a similar thing happen id ask to see a manager there ans then i find you get more done if the manager can see your face and see how unhappy you are. fingers crossed for you and sympathtic thoughts back....:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0
