If you check on google TS have had a go at Tesco in the past (Although I do think they are a bit toothless most of the time). I'm also convinced they had some sort of hand in Tesco not only introducing the R&R policy, but also them continuing with it. Who knows, maybe one of the stipulations was that Tesco had to show Dottie Turnbull in one of their ads ACTIVELY SEEKING OUT overcharges and then getting a full refund at CS?? . I wonder where that ad got to? Nowhere to be seen on the net....:rolleyes:

Apparently the ad is still there, but needs a £15 + vat subscription to the site to view it....

Yes.......they dont have to give you a reason either....

You don't even have to be a regular....depends on who you upset.

Although I hear that HO are looking into individual bans....

Nope, that's a different one. it seems to the r&r one is been buried.

This one is where Prunella Scales offering to "put a good word in" for the members of staff she meets, then at the checkout she is asked if she wants "cash back", to which she responds, "I can't be bought"

Yes, and you don't need to be a regular, or even R&R high value items.
As far as I understand they can ban anyone, and don't need to give a reason, much like a landlord can refuse to serve you in his/her pub.

If you get banned from a particular store, best thing to do is draw up some A5 leaflets explaining how to R&R at Tesco and what to look for, then hand them out to shoppers on their way in (be careful not to stand on Tesco land, of course). I think your ban would be lifted fairly promptly. lol.

I think I read somewhere on that site, that the ads can be removed for a fee (or bought) by their owners.....Maybe thats where its gone....
