  • There's a deal on E2Save - http://www.e2save.com/tariff-info?id=8199976

600 mins + 500 texts + Unlimited data + free phone for 25 quid a month.. sounds a great deal to me

    Can anyone see a catch?
  • Hi ringo_24601,

I've been looking at the deal on e2save.com and I'm thinking as well why is it so much cheaper here? I cant see it for less than £35 on a 24 month anywhere else

    Has anybody used e2save before?

    Best,

    Martin
  • Oh and additionally - e2save are on quidco - so you can get £46 back on a pay monthly contract

  • Hi everyone, I'd like to purchase the HTC Desire HD sim free and unlocked as I've already got a sim card to use for the phone. i've gone to the HTC site and they have a list of places i could buy it from like Play.com, Expansys etc. however, when I search on google for reviews of these websites, i've found reviews that basically say avaoid those websites.
Ideally, i'd like to buy the phone only from a shop on the high street so that i could pop into the shop if there's a problem. but, htc doesn't seem to have a physical shop do they?
please could anyone suggest which websites are safe and reliable?
i'll probably go to town tomorrow and pop into the mobile phones shops to ask if they sell the HTC Desire HD as a phone only.
    thank you.

Play.com is one of the biggest and most reliable retail sites on the internet, there's no reason to avoid them.

  • I've used play.com for dozens of orders for many years; so far had 2 incorrect items delivered and both were rectified very quickly. They are a reputable firm
  • Thank you Poppy and Ringo. i've also gone to have a look in the shops today. phones4u will sell the desire hd at GBP450 as sim only but i've got to get a 1 month free trial sim only from Orange which i can cancel after the first month (i.e. effectively i can call after 24 hours to cancel the sim only trial from orange. but this is a little complicated.
PCworld offers the phone for GBP450 as well as a sim free. but, i'm not sure if they can offer any advice etc with regards to getting the phone set up.
Please may i know if it's complicated to set up the desire HD? I've never used a smartphone before and don't have much clue about setting up the mobile phone. would i just have to put the sim in and the phone will do everything? many thanks
  • Mike - silly question - why do you want a smartphone? It's quite a big jump to get the biggest, possibly most complex smartphone on the market

Have you tried one out in the shops to see if you like it?
