  • Was it easier to read? Lots better,
Was it easier to scan? Yes
Do you read detailed paragraphs or just click through the links - has it made what you want to do easier? lots easier
There are more headlines at the top but they're smaller - do you miss the bigger headlines? no
Did you read the top story the one next to the headlines or skim past it (if so was it due to the content, ie tax credits, or because you didnt see it and went straight below) I read it
Were there any technical glitches or things that didnt render properly no it is a lot better thanks keep up the good work michael \:j
  • No it is not for me thanks:money:
    They call me Mr Pig!
  • Much quicker to read thanks.
I read all the paragraphs if they apply to me.
I did read the Tax Credit one because I was interested in it but I missed all the headlines on the left! I prefer just one paragraph of text wide rather than columns too.
I didn't miss the big headlines.
Thanks again for all your tips!
  • Absolutely love the new look! In all honesty it was the first time i read through the whole newsletter
    Thanks MoneySaving team, well done!
  • Thank you...much easier to scan as I'm a newly qualified science teacher and I am struggling with time and don't have the luxury to read the MSE email in detail on first glance, this new format works well! Easier to pick out the hi-lights on offers. Keep up the good worK!
  • New layout is quicker to scan through for items of personal interest, important when time is of the essence.

Found the "Fisher Price" posted comment very amusing.
    :money:MSE for ever!
  • Martin! You've washed, ironed and starched it and it's come up lovely. Thank goodness you didn't just bin it and go to Primark.

    Cheers

    Tony
  • Thank God. I have never doubted the usefulness and wealth of information in the weekly e-mail, but it was an appalling mess and a struggle to read.
The new design is cleaner and one is able to quickly find the salient points. I'm sure that it can still be improved, but it is a welcome start.
  • I really preferred the old layout.

The new left side panel is reducing the width of the important text in the email.

The contrast between the bright green header and some of the text is insufficient now, and more difficult to read.

Aesthetically, I just think the old layout was better looking.
