  • You have no idea?

The last sale was recorded as 2003. How on earth have you spent 15K doing it up and two sales completed before a sale has updated on LR?

    Its your house.
  • Ah, Barnsley. Lovely little town. Would love to live there if I could earn a decent living locally. And sadly I'm no property developer or BTL expert. But if the houses could be separated then no doubt there is a profit to be had. Shame you couldn't do it yourself and reap the profits. Good luck with it.

    No idea Mate...

    Pre-Crash it was £140,000.....

    I bought it for £60,000 from Must-be-Sold.

One year later valued at £110,000 by Local EA....i SPENT ABOUT £15,000 doing it up....its that thats starngling my cash flow!!

What have you done to it? Have you started converting it back to two? Surely if you finish one side you can sell it and sort out the other side?

It's worth £140k as two house by the look of it. I'll give you £75k for it ;)

Has the end property been built on as an afterthought? The line of the roof looks wrong and the guttering and chimney look as though the inner house was once the end.

Is that a bricked up alley way between the houses? Has that denied access to the neighbour? Couldn't they have done a better job? It doesn't blend in.

It looks like it was a shop to me, with the big lintel over the window and door.

I think the bricked up bit is actually the original door location and the bit on the side is an extenstion. The floor area appears to only be ~24 sq m on the addition. The Pet store has google results for #271 to to have been two properties originally it could only have been something 269 and 269a.

Not an alleyway as there is nothing showign at the back and there is access there anyway so no real need to have a thru alley anyway.

Well sold prices show up on various websites based on Land REgistry data. It usually takes around 3-6 months for it to update.

The last sale is 2003 so I was just curious as to how the company bought it, sold it, and you refurbed it so quickly! Pretty good work turning it round so quickly.
