You do understand that if you do the deal he can then evict you and then possibly install a new tenant paying significantly more rent. How good of a mate is he?0

Was there beer involved at the weekend?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Your friend proposed it to you?Happy to do a deal.....£105,000 or less.I'll rent back from you for say £400.00 amonth for as long as you propose.A far better return than any current interest rate will give you.....and you become a substantial property owner
Happy to do a deal. You can rent it back from me for £400 a month and I become a significant investor in property (although I'll be buying with money I made on a property deal)
Fixed.
Pull the other one. Why would asking if this is a good deal for you be breaking forums rules? Offering the deal to us, now that could be breaking rules.0 -

What's good about it? A gross yield of 4% or so? I'm getting more from National Savings!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

You get many Schoolkids as homeowners on here then???It was a quick synopsis of what I wanted to say. There are many other issues but I didn't want to bore you with them!!!
Sorry if its simplicity upset you.:eek::eek:0 -
Nothing to do with the simplicity. More the fact that your OP made it look like an offer you were making to the forum and then later telling us it was an offer for you from a friend!!!Mustbeananswer?? wrote: »You get many Schoolkids as homeowners on here then???It was a quick synopsis of what I wanted to say. There are many other issues but I didn't want to bore you with them!!!
