No i'm not contradicting myself, read my post properly. I said I have an account and my OH has an account, It is not against the rules for two people from the same household to have an account each.

I'm not telling anybody what to do, they can do what they like, they can set up 100 accounts if they want, but some people on here can't afford to think that they are in for winning £50 and then to lose it for cheating. And if you think that companies will turn a blind eye to tricks like this, especially now you've announced it on a public forum then you are very much mistaken. Peoples correct whereabouts can easily be verified and in fact some companies use the electorial register to do so.

You might get lucky and get away with cheating but then again you might not, that's the risk people have to take.

It's up to you guys what you do.

Yeah, Im sure Walkers didn't think all of this through before launching this multi million pound promotion! :rotfl:

If they were to catch on to you, what would they do if you had banked the money and spent it? Send the bailiffs round?? lol :)

Can you explain how Walkers would be able to identify "cheating" in my case? I appear on the electoral role at my address, my mother appears on the electoral role at her address and my brother appears on the electoral role at his address. My mother will be keeping each cheque I win on her behalf. My brother purchases the product and asks me to enter on his behalf. He will also be keeping any prizes won.

The fact remains that a packet of crisps has been purchased for every entry. Therefore each code entered is legitimate regardless.

Please don't spook people unnecessarily by suggesting that some cyber snoop from Walkers will read this thread and do something about it. Do you honestly think that the highly paid decision makers at a huge company like Walkers blindly stumbled into this without first considering how people may exploit their promotion?

They don't care because sales of Walkers have rocketed during this promotion which is the sole purpose of their venture.

I make absolutely no apologies for telling people how I've won because there is nothing in the rules which state that anybody using their brain will be banned from entry.

Your argument is frankly ludicrous. It's like saying that you can't do more than one line on the lottery per person.

And I do consider it ironic that you have two accounts registered to your house whilst telling us not to use multiple accounts.
If anybody is "cheating" it's you my friend. You are fully aware that it's one entry per email address per day but you have bypassed this by using two email addresses registered to the same household in order to obtain the capacity to place multiple entries.

I can only presume that somebody such as yourself who has taken the moral high ground takes it in turn with your other half to enter this competition.

"Good morning dear, have you entered the Walkers competition today?"

    "I certainly have sweetheart".

"In that case I shall refrain from doing so because I consider it to be cheating to use multiple accounts to predict rain despite it being within the rules of the company who are running said promotion".

    Utterly ridiculous.
