I find this easy to believe. I've only been playing for 6 days, I have an account & so does my wife & we have won £30 so far, & tomorrow is looking like it may well double this (heavy rain forcast in dublin tomorrow & we have 2 spots each). Really wished I'd have known about this sooner!

Interestingly enough, the vast majority of my wins have come from locations in Ireland. They've had a very wet October over there and there's always grid locations in the right areas available too.

I've had two more wins today so I'm up to £170. And the weather forecast is very promising for Monday onwards this week.

I've won £30 so far :) Only started playing recently. My father wants to get in on the action too so he'll be predicting too. Personally, I'm aiming for £100 before the end of the comp :)
    Graduated this year.

  • ive only started this today so im praying for rain tomorrow lol and scotland on monday sorry peeps in scottland :D

just bought some more packets from the coop 3 for £1:j
    STARTED COMPING 29/10/10

WON bag skittles 30/10, £80 walkers crisps, keyring, max factor make up, £1 velvet toilet roll :j
  • I have quite a few codes stored up (am a fan of the 3 for £1 offer at Coop ;)) and am worried i won't be able to play with them all before the comp ends. What happens if you have out-standing plays? I guess i should go read up on the T&A's.

I see from reading the past page or so of this thread that some people here registered multiple accounts in order to use more than one code a day, how many of you are doing this...? ;) & are you registering in a friend/family members name then asking them to bank the cheque for you and give you the cash, then? Hmm, it's an idea i guess.

I have my own account and my OH has one too. I don't feel like that is unreasonable and the terms don't limit it to one per household so no rule breaking going on.

In my opinion, and you can either take it or leave it, I don't feel that trying to gain extra entries by either setting up multiple accounts or by entering on other peoples behalf is a good idea. The terms say that we shouldn't do that and if anyone gets caught breaking the terms they could risk losing their prize money.

If you think that it may be a long shot and the risk of getting caught is extremely low then i'll just point out that on previous similar comps the companies themselves have read threads such as these and taken a dim view of any 'cheating' and if that's not enough then there's been occasions where other people have contacted the companies directly and informed them of what's going on.

Of course, it's up to you what you do but please just bear in mind that this is pretty easy money, it's a fair competition and we're not competing against anyone, if you do wish to try and gain even more cash by exploiting the rules then you must be aware that there's a risk you could lose everything.

Aren't you contradicting yourself here? You have registered two accounts at your home address by presumably using the same IP address but you're telling us that it's "cheating" if we do it?

Walkers couldn't prove anything. For all they know an IP address could be an internet cafe. Using multiple accounts but registering them for different home addresses is absolutely fine. I've had 11 cheques delivered to two different addresses so far and I've just started entering codes on my brother's behalf too.

Don't listen to this killjoy. Walkers only have themselves to blame for setting up a promotion which allows us to legitimately exploit it in this manner.

No i'm not contradicting myself, read my post properly. I said I have an account and my OH has an account, It is not against the rules for two people from the same household to have an account each.

I'm not telling anybody what to do, they can do what they like, they can set up 100 accounts if they want, but some people on here can't afford to think that they are in for winning £50 and then to lose it for cheating. And if you think that companies will turn a blind eye to tricks like this, especially now you've announced it on a public forum then you are very much mistaken. Peoples correct whereabouts can easily be verified and in fact some companies use the electorial register to do so.

You might get lucky and get away with cheating but then again you might not, that's the risk people have to take.

It's up to you guys what you do.

This is from their Terms and Conditions
Multiple accounts will be disqualified as will individuals acting on behalf of third parties or syndicates. All accounts associated with such activity will be terminated.

Like I say, it's just a heads up. You might get away with it. It's entirely up to the individual if they want to get an easy few hundred quid legitimately or if they want to try and double the amount but risk losing it.

One more thing, I reckon that Walkers were probably aware that some people might try and set up multiple accounts or they wouldn't have mentioned it in their terms.
