Hi there
I am in the same situationas you guy's. Nationwide have sent a second letter saying they need more time, until the 8th November!!!
Do we have to sit tight and wait? x:mad:0 -
Hi
As long as 8 weeks have passed, your entitled to make a complaint to the financial ombudsman service (FOS), see what happens by the 8th, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

If you receive nothing in the post by tomorrow or by Monday the latest contact them for an update, then take it from there, the best of luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Hi guys sorry for the delay.
Well i received a letter from Nationwide last Friday which said they would refund me back the ppi amount i have paid. That equated to £1800.00, they gave me the option of paying it off the loan, a cheque or a irect transfer into my account.
I chose them to pay it into my account as i recently paid off the loan. I am now waiting for the money to be refunded to me, i have tried calling the complaints team to confirm they received my letter but have been engaged for 2 days!!
