To Lloyds Bank ;) .

Linky
Lloyds Banking Group is to rebrand its Lloyds TSB branches, products and services to Lloyds Bank by 2013 ...
The move is part of the restructuring plan the part-nationalised banking agreed with the European Commission last year after the Commission’s report into state-aid.
As part of the plan, Lloyds Banking Group announced it was to sell its TSB brand.

My mate was talking about this on Friday he works for Lloyds TSB.

I used to love the days of lloyds bank when you knew each on the first name terms. If you went overdrawn they would ring you too see if there was anything they could do help.

Its not very often you get that now a days :D

About time they dropped the TSB part, I mean when referring to them it's usually always just Lloyds in any case. Always seemend pointless to me adopting the TSB part when the merger occurred all those years ago as nothing was adopted in to LLoyds day to day banking form the TSB arm.

I would start with TSB being the only bank to have an on-line in real time computer system, even between branches and two separate banks England & Wales and TSB Scotland. No one would be without it now of course but unless you banked with the TSB you would not know all of the things it did bring to the table.

I actually thought the current LTSB IT platform came from TSB.

    Could be wrong though.

It did. It was the most advanced for a bank in the country at the time. Lloyds was working on the same basis as any other clearing bank. TSB was years ahead.
  • does that mean in 2013 we'll all get new visas saying lloyds bank instead of lloyds tsb-same for chequebooks and bank giros?
