Just received an email from DFDS seaways congratulating me and confirming my booking and saying that you can add insurance and meals to your booking but it wouldn't let me, I rang their number and they said that you will be able to in a few weeks I worked out for 3 breakfasts, 2 evenings meals for 2 adults and a child will only be 111.00 taking into account the half price for children which isn't bad considering the cruise was a freebie and no need to worry about carting loads of sarnnies or pot noodles on board. Be nice to go on the trip and be spoilt for a few days

AAH don`t worry about the price increase.
Much more chance of chucking it up in November than February.

I don`t know whether it`s been suggested?
As shock horror i have not read the whole thread.
But do you not think it would make for a nice social occasion for fellow MSE`rs to have a bit of a meet and greet while on this trip,i am sure that as we all have MSE in common that it would add to the pleasure of the trip.
We are going from 20-23rd feb and would welcome contact from anyone going at the same time.Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind. - Albert Einstein.

We are going on 13th feb, half term week. Assuming the wife can get time off work agreed. But still recovering from 24 hours of extreme illness during a force 10 gale on a return trip from Sweden 8 years ago. And we swore never again, but of course this time it's free :-)0
