:hello:I'm back! I had a really good trip, all the kids were great, and the sun shone all day Monday. Yesterday was cooler, but we were in Nausiacaa so it didn't matter - only problem was a really rough crossing home, so we got back an hour and a half late. I'm shattered today!

I've done the main bedroom today, and not much else. The house wasn't too trashed, although there's a large patch of melted candle wax on the table - DS2 didn't think to put anything under the candle...I've scraped most of it off, and was thinking of absorbent paper and a warm iron - any better suggestions?

Must go cast an eye over tomorrow's lesson plans, and then I'm off to bed.

    Love and hugs.

Lovely surprise from DS today - went up to his room to put his clean clothes away and he'd managed to spill a tub of green slime from a joke set over his sheet. I've washed it twice now - once at 30 and once at 60 and it's not coming out:mad: Has anyone any suggestions?

I didn't think today could get worse after my DF's news this morning but it did. I had a phone call from DS1's college tutor and he hasn't been to college yesterday or today. I tried so hard to get him sorted out when he messed up his GCSE's. I feel so crushed. I ran down the road to see my FIL and promptly burst into tears. FIL who has been so supportive was devastated.

DH is away and has had someone in his car all day so I haven't been able to talk to him. He called me from the service station when his colleage was in the loo but a 2 minute conversation with me in tears didn't get us very far.

DS1 came home at 7.30 telling lies about broken down busses. FIL was with me and eventually got out of him that he doesn't see the point of induction days so didn't go. I still can't make any sense of it.

I'm going to make some cocoa and go to bed to cry some more.

LOL, coincidentally, I found an external floppy drive in a drawer at work today. I might "liberate" it for just those eventualities :rotfl:

Off to find a list .........
I've just said I can't read things on a floppy disk...email it to me (why would people not do that anyway!?)
Anyone about to do a Teso online grocery shop?
I did one today, don't tell me you had a code? I couldn't find one anywhere despite spending £100
