Afternoon all, not caught up so I hope everyone's OK.

I've done all the bedrooms today, two loads of washing done and dried. Also did the living room and hallway. Haven't checked the lists so I don't know whether I'm on target.

All kids collected, been to town and lifted hubby's meds and went to library and got more books. :D

Trainers now in wm and i really need to sort out a new pair for myself as there falling apart. :(

Best go empty the dw and then give DD a hand with her homework.

  • diddly74 welcome to the thread and the madhouse - I hope those essays have been started - we will expect progress reports - I cant remember a nurse here before! if you can establish little routines to keep you organised it will help with being on shifts and should give you a bit more time for the studying!!! (well thats the theory!!) will be sending you a pm in a few minutes.

    toots xx

Thank you toottifrootti, I have read your PM - so nice of you to welcome me. I have started my list - different jobs to do, things to buy its getting longer as I read different threads - I wonder if I will get anything done in the house whilst catching up on the posts lol :D

But yes I have made some progress with the assignments - not an awful lot but I got myself past a big hump that I had hit and now am waiting for my Tutor to email me back over a question. I have to make myself sit down and do some work every day. I have to break the back of the 7000 words that need writing by Monday - no fail! :A

I have also done one of my jobs! I have a problem garage door, the big up and over one, it blows a gale thru there (certainly at the moment it does) my dogs live in the garage so that connecting door from it to the kitchen is always open. The house has no internal doors and is all open plan - so today I found out a large king sized bed spread and have rigged it up over the door. Now it may not stop all the draft but its sure cut it down - can't use the door now, but we don't use it much so no bad.

Right DD2 has her first Brownies club tonight (see if she likes it) so I had better get on and make tea! Again thanks for the welcome!
