I am guessing if this person (betting they are one of the older generation) has a floppy drive it's an old pc and possibly one donated to them. I know to us it's hard to comprehend but I am also guessing this person has no internet access and even if they did they may have no idea how to attach something and then email it.
that's the thing, she does...she works for the church part time and has her email published so last month I emailed her and said could she send me the document so she did...then this month i got it on floppy again!! hey ho, people forget I guess!

Am going out for lunch with MiL today, was planning on a morning of carpy tv first, but BBC1 is all the Pope's visit and home is car boot type progs (I was after decorating/house ones!). Do need to iron DH's shirt for his interview, he went to work early and is coming home at lunchtime to change. This is the final 2 so I guess we should know by next week if he's got the job or not.

Have ordered a nursing bra and will order another if it's any good, also have a lady coming to collect my surplus steriliser this aft, and Mr T 3-5pm.

  • Morning all. I am here this week - just not had time for posting or reading! Hope everyone is well. Seem to be doing everything in a rush this week - DD1 just in school on afternoons this week. By the time I walk home from dropping her off with DD2 and baby in pram, we only have just over an hour before we have to set off back - not even enough time for DD2 to have a nap! Am also trying to potty train DD2 which is going well - except that yesterday I had to literally prise her off the potty so we weren't late going back to school. Am looking forward to next week when DD1 is at school full time!
Mammy to 3 gorgeous children. :)

Hi all, apologies for not getting back to y'all yesterday.

Firstly thank you for all the suggestions, some great ideas, I may go with a pampering session or a bit of alternative therapy for DD1 or a comedy show as she loves John Bishop. Cheers for helping out.

Had a long day at work yesterday, got back late and felt dreadful. Ended up bawling my eyes out because I thought I was having a Lyme attack but thankfully its a stomach bug and I just puked up everywhere...:o, quite spectacularly I must say. My hubby has the weakest stomach and retches at the thought of sicky stuff but cleared up after me all the way up the stairs....:rotfl: now that's love!!:happylove:D

I know I shouldn't find that funny but I do.

So having today off and possibly tomorrow to recover.

So will attempt to get some gentle jobs done today as I have the opportunity.

Can I ask all flyladies to send a collective surge of energy, light and goodwill to our Toots. She is always considerate, kind and inclusive and I think needs a little boost at the mo. Toots hun, given what you deal with you just just moan away sweetheart, swear, shout, have a right proper tantrum, get it out of your system any which way you can, if you can.
If you can't well thats ok too, just keep on getting up and doing your day,THAT in itself is a victory.:kisses3:

Flying wise I've put the washing machine on, collected 2 eggs and answered the phone and the door and now I'm back in bed resting.

Toots hun....I noticed this on your list...

eBay to get the money for painters bill/heater for LR/ tumble dryer/ trip switch repair/ debts /passport £85/outside plumbing repairs/ dividing fence / bunker, paving and power for new wheelchair

would the council not do this for you, or Macmillan know of anyone, or a local charity? Surely this isn't something you should be expected to sort and pay for yourself. Have you a social worker or a worker from the disability team, maybe worth asking them if you haven't already. xxx

    Morning

    Just skimmed quickly thru fred....

Smartie - Awww, your daughter is beautiful. Congratulations!

Toots - I love the necklace you made. Gorgeous colours :T Lots of (((((hugs))))) xx

Notso - My DD2 was in a similar situation last year, which lasted 7 long months (main problem was with her so-called 'best friend' who turned most of the girls in the class against her). DD2 is very quiet and shy. It's been a long process but she has gradually built up a new group of friends. Its very painful for the parent too, hearing about the stuff that goes on each day. I used to cry in private at some of the things she'd tell me :( I truly hope things are sorted out very soon for you and your boys ((((hugs))))

Sorry if I've missed anything else xx

My garage has just phoned. I need to declutter £290 to get the car thru its MOT today. Great
    I need direction to perfection...

Utility room now done, shoes/wellies sorted, window cleaned, floor brushed, rubbish out. Just need to do the back hall now so that i can open the back door. :o Might just stick the washing machine on a hot wash. Once the back hall is cleared i'll bring in all the clothes.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
