Off to put my feet up briefly - back tomorrow...

Morning everyone.
Bedrooms are cleared ready for the new windows to go in this afternoon. Curtains in the wash and bedding all off. Hope it doesnt take them too long. Have done the bathroom as well.
Last night was the first night Ive not been up coughing for a fortnight. Still continuing with honey and lemon.
kazmeister Mum is doing ok despite not taking her medication. She just refuses to have it and doctor said there doesnt appear to be any problems just her advancing age.
Mumto5 Hugs.

Hi all.
I'm just checkin' in, as doing so helps to keep me going:o; this week I'll post my progress over all the lists some time tomorrow, when I've finished all I can manage for the week, as I'm still doing odd bits from early in the week.
Mumto5 I have no words of wisdom to offer, but please have a big Wolfy (((HUG))). It seems that life is giving you a real kicking of late.:o
Rach I can only think the person isn't confident about doing an email attachment. Mr LW's computer doesn't have a disk drive either; my PC does, but that's only because it's 8 years old! I seem to remember when we got Mr LW's, he had the option of having a disk drive, but it would have cost extra, so we didn't bother.
Toots how are you doing today mate? Wolfy (((HUGS))) for you.:o
Nattyt sorry to hear about your sis; suspend flying and get her sorted.
Invisiblecabbage yep, hoovering the car does count, imho.;) Sending gentle feel-better vibes for the guinea pig. Poor little chap.:(
Shysarah if that's all you have left on the list, you've done well.:o
Triker I hope you're feeling better today.:o I can't deal with humans throwing up. But strangely, I'm OK if it's dogs. Go figure..... Still, full marks to your DH for helping you out.:A
Had the annual household buildings/contents insurance document through this morning, so I may have to do a little "creative accounting" to get that sorted. Shouldn't be a major problem - just need to transfer a bit from me to Mr LW, and he'll do the actual payment.;)
The fatigue still hasn't abated any, and I've now got a mouthful of ulcers, a few clumps of hair have fallen out, and my butterfly rash is up and driving me nuts - so I think it can officially be declared a flare.:( Flamin' nuisance, as we have a friend coming over on Sunday; she's pretty much invited herself, and is bringing her very LARGE, naughty Great Dane Cross with her! His name's Jay, and I call him Jay-Cloth, because he has what my grandmother would've called "cloth ears".:rotfl: Oh well, I'm sure Mr LW will step up to the plate.....:A I have a Mensa meeting tonight, too, which we've promised to attend.
Right, lunch has been decluttered, so I'd better go for my assignation with a bottle of Stardrops.:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all,
Hugs mumto5 teenage years are difficult, I share your pain! Hope things improve soon.
Have had an impromptu trip to the vets this morning with big cat. He's been fighting again & has a nasty bite or deep scratch on his front leg. He's limping & it's swollen, so I have anti-inflammatories & antibiotics for him. He's ok in himself though - am bracing myself for the 'get a tablet down a cat' game later.
Got some gardening jobs done too, before I had to leave for work, cut the tops off the spuds for digging up in a fortnight or so, emptied the hanging baskets & refilled with compost ready for winter trailing pansies.
