Very little work done, but I have sorted out my mobile contract (£10/month, 100 minutes, 500 texts); changed my broadband and phone provider, and submitted my gas & elec meter readings. It's peeing with rain, so won't be going for a walk or run. I guess I'll have to do washing, ironing and housework before giving in and finishing my powerpoints...
that, and the one Kaz M mentions sound good...I need more than 500 texts though...but last month I went over my 500 texts plus unlimited 02 to 02 texts and ended up spending extra, not sure how I did so mych texting :o. Must sort out a better deal, would like to stick with 02 as it's just easy...

Got my hospital appt tomorrow morning, so am hoping for a discharge from the fracture clinic and a referral to physio. We'll see. They'll need to do an xray, and there's a slim slim slim minute teeny tiny chance that I might be pregnant (given my advanced age  and the time we've been trying very unlikely really :o) plus it's far too early to test. Am getting a bit worked up about whether to have the xray or not. Thoughts?
I had an x-ray on my ankle very early on in pregnancy...before I knew, but we were trying so I was aware I might be, was about 4 days after I must've concieved! Radiologist said it was fine because it was my ankle but offered me a lead apron to drape over myself, which I did. My mum had an x-ray when pg with me as it was before scans and they needed to check her pelvis!

Right, I must go to bed, really tired again and friend picking me up at 9am

I have spent so many days being miserable about stuff I hadn't done the day before I got nothing done that day too.. looking at every day like a new opportunity to get stuff done is the only way to make a difference.

Thank you (again) for words of wisdom. Must write this in my diary so I don't forget. I don't get in too late in the afternoons, but any get-up-and-go has well and truly got up and gone by then. Since the busy weekend I've fallen behind with pretty much everything around the house and DH and I will be away from Saturday morning until Sunday lunch this weekend.
Work is going from bad to worse - I've never known a start of term like it. Must get to bed now to stand a chance with classes tomorrow. Night all. Hugs all around. xxx

Think I might have sorted out the stuff for Thursday's workshop (all bar one section, which I need a colleague to donate slides for...). And I've written my list for packing and emailed my cousin to see whether he's free to meet up when I get to Paris.

So... just two more presentations to get done by the end of the week, and I won't be too far behind with my work :p

Think I might go to bed now.

Hugs, spoons & sticks all round for those that want and/or need them

Well I didnt think I had got much done but actually because I had worked so hard last week a lot of things can be left this week.
Been a horrid start to the week so far my cousin and her bf split after ten years and 2 kids so have been supporting her.
My sister had an accident today with her baby so she is in hospital for observations (the baby bumped her head). _pale_
On top of this my gallbladder has gone into major pains. I am now feeling very very poorly and weepy and bleugh.
It never rains but it pours eh...
