Toots - your necklace is beautiful. Well done!

First day today of picking up DS3 and DD2 at the same time. I went to DD2's classroom first and she was first one out. I then trotted round to DS1's classroom and it was deserted and he had been sent to the office. How am I expected to be in 2 places at the same time? I asked that he be allowed to walk round to the reception playground but that upsets the PC brigade:mad:.

2 bits of bad news today. One bit of good news. One of the school mums lost her dad very suddenly last night. I can't believe she was at school this morning she was in a bad way. She's married so I'm really shocked her husband didn't do something to help her.

Then at our lunch today I heard that a DF who had just announced she was pregnant miscarried her baby at 14 weeks this weekend:(.

Now for the good news. The school have decided to have DS1's maths paper remarked at their cost:j.

DH is away until Thursday. DD1 is being a madam. Came home at 10.30 last night and lied that she had got a lift. The boyfriend can't be bothered to see her home safely so she's lying to protect him. DH has grounded her and is furious because I was running around like an idiot for her with the bank yesterday.

How Bl00dy ridiculous. Have they NEVER had siblings in school before? I would be in to see the head about that one.

    Evening

Falling down already as a nofly day today - things happening at home, people in dark places, people in tears, rescuing 11 year olds from dark alleys by the river in town , more tears, not speaking, early nights and no energy left to fly! Thank goodness tomorrow is another day, another step forward

Have now played catch up and will be on way to bed shortly as exhausted

Crafty - hope you had a better day today
Shysarah - hope all ok with you and family
Sunnierdays - good luck with the cellar
polkadot - glad the little man is enjoying school, it makes it so much easier
carlsberg - hope you had a great holiday
tiredandesperate - loved the way you told DS1 he had an extra scientific brain, really clever. Massive hugs for DS2, it is really sad that someone as kind as he has been in supporting the other boy, has been isolated himself.
    Hugs for Lamewolf
The shuffs - welcome to coming out from lurkdom and good luck with flying
Crafty - I'm another solar powered one
kazw - great bargains, were the scales fairly small ones, I'm looking for a set for DS to take to uni
greenbee - ouch. I just got DD a sim only deal with O2 for unlimited text, 300mins calls and unlimited calls to landlines 12m contract £10/m which I thought was really good especially as keeping her on O2 I can keep an eye on her bluebook! Hope you catch up with everything else in time
poohbear - less busy and more money vibes for you
toots - the necklace is gorgeous
onestep - hope all goes to plan tomorrow at hosp
Mumto5 - thats some rollercoaster day today, hope tomorrow is a more positive one

Have now played catch up and will be on way to bed shortly as exhausted - I'm not surprised with that lot going on

tiredandesperate - loved the way you told DS1 he had an extra scientific brain, really clever. Massive hugs for DS2, it is really sad that someone as kind as he has been in supporting the other boy, has been isolated himself.

I can't take the credit for the extra scientific brain idea, I'm afraid. I read it on another site somewhere when I was looking for info re Aspergers. It just seemed to fit DS1 to a T :). Since I've told him, he seems to notice easier that he's having a meltdown & will accept some comforting. It's early days, so hopefully, it will get easier for him (and us).

DS2 is now showing signs of possessiveness with his mate (the one who is now home educated). He doesn't like it when his brothers come along as well. Things are definitely escalating... I'm not sure we'll make it to half term... I might pull him earlier, and let him chill, but do some 11+ practice during the days (exam in 2 weeks) - really poor timing but if he does the exam he will have the choice of going to big school or not...

    Notso
I'm not so tired & not so desperate..... mainly thanks to MSE :D so just call me Notso.....
Yes, I'm juggling and I might drop some.... but at least I'm trying ;)
