Hellyboo Im so with you on feeling like you've not stopped and have nothing to show for it.

I'll be very glad once this settling in period is done for DS1 and he's in school for a full day. Timed the trip today and using the bus to get up to the top of the hill, it took me half an hour each way:( At the moment he's only in from 12:35 to 15:05, so by the time I got home I had *just* enough time to give DS2 a bottle (It dawned on me talking to another mum that he'll be a month old on Monday :eek:I feel like I just brought him home!)
My internal wound didnt like the stretching that two hours of mostly walking caused, so I think Im on a go slow for the rest of the day. I do need to do the banking and then I want to do a batch of white chocolate mudcake cupcakes with mock cream topping...in aid of National Cupcake Week, and for DH to take to work to say thank you. His colleagues have been so good whilst he was on paternity leave. I somehow remember saying this on Monday but I cant remember where? Im sorry if it was here.

Anyway, my updated list:
Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
Level One
Sweep and mop the floor
Clear and wipe worksurfaces
[STRIKE]Shine the sink![/STRIKE]
Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe fronts of appliances and units[/STRIKE]
Descale the kettle! No need for this anymore. DH bought me a filter kettle when I brought DS2 home:T
Level Three
Clear and wipe window sills Cant reach-wont try. Will have DH do it when he gets home
Clean out the oven thoroughly.. Started last night-finished now
[STRIKE]Quick s&s of the fridge[/STRIKE]

Extras

2. Wipe skirtings

just an update, though I've not done much kind of using it as a rolling list and keep adding bits as I think of them.

Friend drove down to visit, lovely to see her, we had coffee out and lunch here and got the extra baskets for the changing table. Then when she'd gone i had a lovely long nap. DH is home and not too well though hopefully will be ok for work tomorrow.

Wash baby cardis(and throw in the mobile)
Wash carseat cover now needs replacing
Wipe over bouncy chair cover
Phone work re payslips for July & Aug
get more changing table baskets
Phone liz re nappies
post/give baby bits to Anna
put DH's opera bookings on calendar
do church magazine
book car in for MOT & service (oops ran out on 10/09 but won't be using it)

phone childminder re possible look around no space so back to the drawing board

put paper in wardrobe drawers to line them

Spent most of it on sewing machine and got one of my WIPs finished. :T

Sort that present cupboard.. incorporate what you can to birthday/christmas list
Sort through a box of junk fom the landing

3. Sort under bed!
4. Collect all the dirty laundry from upstairs!

I haven't been able to join in this week as I have had too many other things to do but I did :shocked: mop the kitchen floor today.

Hospital tomorrow.

We have not a single penny between us until Friday. And I am in the city tomorrow

Very little work done, but I have sorted out my mobile contract (£10/month, 100 minutes, 500 texts); changed my broadband and phone provider, and submitted my gas & elec meter readings. It's peeing with rain, so won't be going for a walk or run. I guess I'll have to do washing, ironing and housework before giving in and finishing my powerpoints...

Urgh! Not had a particularly good day of it today. Did okay in the morning, but DD thought that she only needed a half hour nap and so she was beside herself this afternoon. She's gone to bed early now, but the last thing i CBA with is flying.
