Thank you everyone for the congrats:D:D:D

It's amazing how much washing little Daisy is producing:eek: It's raining so we have washing drying everywhere... WM is on again! DH loads it up for me and I do the rest... as I discovered while I was in hospital he had been putting random washing detergent in the "please don't put anything in me bit" of the washing machine drawer!!:rotfl:

    Hello all.

Many thanks for all the lovely messages re our anniversary; we had a lovely day - didn't go at all according to plan, but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Now, while it's still in my mind:

    Happy Birthday Zed

    Congratulations Smartie

I'm afraid flying is suspended again today - I think I used up all today's spoons and a fair proportion of tomorrow's as well yesterday. I'll just have to catch up with what I can manage later in the week. I feel badly about this, but I'm afraid there's little I can do.:(

Luckily most of today's tasks are already covered one way or another - either already done, or don't need doing at all. Here's how it stands at present:

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Done by Mr LW
    Clear and wipe worksurfaces
    Shine the sink!
    Level Two
Wipe fronts of appliances and units
    Descale the kettle!
Wipe table and replace cloth if needed
    Level Three
    Clear and wipe window sills
    Clean out the oven thoroughly..

Quick s&s of the fridge Done Saturday, prior to F&V run.
    Extras

    1. Sort all those unpaired socks!! N/A – all socks in this household are happily married!
    2. Wipe skirtings
    3. wash windows
    4. Thoroughly clean out 1 cupboard

Tuesday - Master bedroom & landing
    Level One
    Strip and wash sheets
    Done Saturday
Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing clean sheets
    Done Saturday
    Level Two
    15 minutes floordrobe clearance
    No floordrobe here!
Change duvet for winter one if you need to.
N/A – we only have the one duvet.
    Vacuum floors
    Done by Mr LW
    Level Three
Sort stuff from the top of the wardrobe.. don't hurt yourself just if you can!!
No need – I know exactly what's up there, and it's all neat and tidy.
Sort that present cupboard.. incorporate what you can to birthday/christmas list
    N/A
Sort through a box of junk fom the landing N/A – no landing, and no boxes of junk anywhere else to sort.
    Extras

    1. Tidy floor of the wardrobe!
    2. Binbag dance
    3. Sort under bed! N/A – only thing that lives there is the jigsaw board.
    4. Collect all the dirty laundry from upstairs! It's all in the laundry bin already
We're supposed to be having a meal out tonight, but may cancel; I can barely sit up at the moment, let alone anything else. I keep hoping I'll feel a little more lively, but it isn't happening yet.

  • Hi everyone, had quite a productive morning even tho DS1 isn't at nursery today so I've had a little 'helper'! I bought some stardrops last night and OMG it's amazing!! I've had these grubby marks on the doors for ages, think it's where the dog comes in from swimming in the sea and shakes everywhere, anyway I've been trying to shift them for ages, tried everything but nothing was shifting them. Diluted some stardrops with water and put in a spray bottle, quick spray and wipe over with microfibre cloth and my doors are white again!:j Going to try it in the oven as best I can this evening. Anyway, the list.....
Tuesday - Master bedroom & landing
    Level One

It's raining here today so can't get the covers dry so will hopefully put them in the wash tomorrow, definately going to invest in another duvet set, think they've got some on offer in Argos at the mo
    Level Two
15 minutes floordrobe clearance - did this today whilst putting clothes away
Change duvet for winter one if you need to.
    [STRIKE]Vacuum floors[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
Sort stuff from the top of the wardrobe.. don't hurt yourself just if you can!! - did this last week in preparation for the move
Sort that present cupboard.. incorporate what you can to birthday/christmas list - don't have one!
Sort through a box of junk fom the landing - no junk on my landing!

    Extras
    1. Tidy floor of the wardrobe! - did today
    2. Binbag dance
    3. Sort under bed! - nothing under our beds
    4. Collect all the dirty laundry from upstairs! - this is done EVERY day part and parcel of having two mucky boys lol
So although it looks like I've not got much to do tomorrow I do have to:
    • [STRIKE]Post a book sold on amazon [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Bake some cakes and yummy things [/STRIKE]
    • Sort out baking cupboard so things no longer fall out on my head!
    • Make some chicken & veg soup
    • [STRIKE]Hoover living room, hall and dining room[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]packed lunch for DH [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]lunch for me and boys[/STRIKE]
    • dinner
    • dishes
    • sort shoes out in porch
    • put clean clothes away
So it looks like I may have some spare time this evening so will sort out my knitting bits and pieces.

Just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying doing this, it feels good to cross things off a list and my house is starting to look shipshape with not an awful lot of effort!:T
