  • I liked the Ramones version better, there seems to be more passion in the way he sings! Love the Coldplay song too.

Got loads of washing done, the bedding has been ironed and put back on just in time as it is now raining. Had roast chicken with roasties, carrots, peas and yorkies - the first time they have been successful so I'm quite chuffed with myself.

DS2 home from his week teaching the next uni lot and seemed to enjoy himself. Was starving when he came in, good job I made soup yesterday. Think he will be going to bed soon though!

Hope you all enjoyed your day. Take care. XX

It's on the 1970 album "T.Rex", which has a picture of Marc with Mickey Finn on the cover.

Evening All, (ooh I feel like Dixon of Dock Green lol)

Just popped in to say Hello and see if there was any news re Falady hope everything is going well for her. Done a bit of garden decluttering and cooked a roast pork dinner, school and work uniforms all sorted and made chocolate cornflake cakes. DD1 has just bought me an enormous ice cream with flake chocolate sauce and nuts so am going to sit back and enjoy that whilst watching the Help For Heroes concert.

Best wishes to everyone, help yourself to any hugs or spoons needed.

    Jaxx

    p.s Still no Mrs Mortenharket???

Quick call tonight! Kids home with their laundry!

Made a few things today, last of the apples were either put into a delish lemon and ginger cake or just stewed. Made a Banana custard for tea out of the dregs of the bananas. Did some pastry, which didn't have quite enough water so hard to roll, did the pasties from Economy gastronomy. pronounced great by family. Still some left for pack up tomorrow.

Am going to be awol as taking dd back to Uni and staying over one night, gotta be back for work on Wed morning.
