I have, both times on health grounds. I offered to supply a doctors letter but it wasn't necessary. I was pleased anyway as I'm not a fan of the jury system.0

What about if you are a full time carer for a family member. Would they still expect you to do it?

I don't have a bank account nor do we have credit cards. My benefits are paid by weekly/fortnightly giros.
And no I am not talking out of my backside.
We deal in cash and dont believe in bank accounts. If we get a cheque it is generally cashed through one of my daughters' accounts.
if a cheque is made out to you how does your daughter put it through her account ?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
