xbox core + 5 games and extra controller for £199.99 @ currys!!

My order arrived at lunchtime and only included the xbox 360 core.
I have contacted websales and they advised that "head office are looking into it"

just had mine, same thing.:mad:
Just spoken to Cs, they said a note had been made (glad i insisted now) and that i was correct about the games. Would now be passed to HO for them to get games sent out.

I was eventually told that yesterday although the guy was very blase about it so I'm not expecting any anytime soon. If needbe, I'll write a letter as over the phone has not been easy.

I contacted Consumer Line just to check on what we can do and they told me that, if you paid by credit card, the credit card company are equally liable so if I get no joy from Currys I will be going to them.

She also said that, since I have evidence of the offer, this could be taken to small claims court

Just heard from a S.A. in an Xtravision rental store... which is division of Blockbuster.....they are in final negoiations with microsoft about their xbox package deal to be released at reduced price early november....they reckon it will be.....Premium plus headset and controller plus 4 games for £199.99.,,sounds good deal if it comes to be... I shall wait til then and see before commiting to buy now as i am wanting it for Christmas and in no immediate rush.

no chance at that price

well i hope not anyway only just bought mine, but i am pretty sure it will be no-where near that price

£200 for a premium system and 4 games

Totally agree, they're not going to devalue their product like that in such a short space of time. I could believe it with a core package but not the premium. Just my humble opinion of course

Just sharing what i was told....and yes people sometimes get it wrong...thats why i said i'd be waiting to see...You just never know tho..stranger things have happened! Hope it helps someone.

Just recieved a reply to me email sent last week:

Apologies for the delay in responding to your email,

This product does not come with the 5 games and extra controller at that
price, the price on the site was £479.99 if supplied with the 5 games and
extra controller.

So how come they've dispatched previous orders for the bundle at the £199 ( or £179 ) price then ?!!?

Anyone prepared to offer advice, experience, order details etc, so that I can add it to my reply to them please ?
