It's been mentioned a couple of times already, but without a link - Matched Betting most certainly will be a way to make £1,024 in eleven weeks.

You won't be able to do it from nothing, but a £50 initial investment is all it took me (and many other MSEers). There is at least £500 to get in cashback, and the rest comes from properly exploiting the free bet offers.
  • Try selling a song down the phone on ebay!
I'd pay a pound to hear somone sing "Close to me" by The Carpenters.
Or an impression. Such as a Turkey Buzzard!

I'd pay £2 for a hand drawn sketch of a Mule Deer! Especially if you can't draw.

I'm going to join in too if no one minds. I've written the dates in my diary in case pc dies (again) and I'm not able to make contact. I registered for FHM £10 earlier on but can't get in to see account at mo. Am going to keep trying. Failing that, I've got loads of bits and bobs that I would like to sell on e-bay but the only way I can get photo's up is e-mailing myself them from my mobile and they come out crap and make the item I'm selling look shoddy (- any tips?). I was thinking of making a chart to put on wall that I can colour in a section each time I get my targets.

Great idea - can't wait to pay off a chunk of my overdraft. I haven't discovered how to do signatures yet but am going to have a look in a min.

Welcome aboard :D - remember anything that you sell on Ebay needs to be something which didn't cost you anything in the first place.

I love the chart idea, would really keep you motivated. Can you not borrow a friend's camera to take some pictures for Ebay?

To do your signature, go to your private messages and click on edit signature at the top of the menu on the left hand side (sorry if I haven't explained that very well :o ).

    Good luck

(I've got another £1 from Swapit shop by the way so I am now up to £13 :D )

The website is http://www.swapitshop.com - you can get swapits from various magazines for free with the codes that they print.

Vists this thread to get some free codes to start you off http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=202659&highlight=swapit

Good luck, it takes about 700 swapits to get £1 but the codes are pretty regular and are usualy for either 50 or 100 swapits.

Thanks emily! This might sound silly (again! :o ) but what do you do with all the points you collect? I have looked at the site but I can't figure it out!!

Look through the different categories to find the items up for auction. You can then bid on them or some auctions have got buy it now prices.

To find some cash, type coin in the search box.

    Hope this helps :D
