I found a tramp in a skip, I'm gonna sell him for medical research..."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

I'm in on this challenge. Money for nothing. Dunno quite how i'm gonna achieve it quite yet, but am gonna put something on ebay to my first £1. Maybe a paperclip lol. Wouldn't it be wicked if in 11 weeks, we had £1024 from just £1.0

We will end up with £1,024 in 11 weeks - got to think positive
I'm going to clear a credit card with mine - my pesky Capital One card!! :j0 -
How about doing a MacMillan Coffee Morning - there's an official national one coming up soon. Bake some biscuits or a cake with ingredients you already have, and invite the neighbours for a coffee and a natter @ say £2 per person. Ensure that they know that £1 of the total raised will be retained, ostensibly to cover your costs for putting the event on, and send the rest to the charity.
Our neighbour holds these MacMillan coffee mornings when they come around, and I couldn't go last year due to other commitments so gave her £5 for the cause. If even four people do that, it's £19 for the charity plus your start-up £1.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Hi - I think the national coffee morning is on Friday....
Could still be done though - like the train of thought!"A simple life freely chosen is a source of strength. Do not be pursuaded into buying what you do not need or cannot afford." Quaker Faith & Practice 1.02.410 -
If all this is ok, ehallett, I'll join you.....
I've just sold a rowing machine on ebay for £40. Guy about to pick it up and hand me the cash. It didn't cost me anything as my ex left it at the house we had and when the house was sold I took it... small revenge for leaving me in so much debt!!!
So, can this be my opening item/money? And how do we progress from this? Use it to buy something to sell on for profit? I've found a little money spinner I might try and expand on........:TOU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0 -
