    Hi,

would you mind if I joined in? £3,000, if I can do it, would pay off my credit card in full :D so this may be the motivation I need!
    count me in too

  • Annie - I was looking at the gift sets tonight and couldn't work out the best way to use the coupons. I liked the lavender baskets for £7.50 and the Magnolia pots for £7.50. Am I right in thinking I should buy 3 to get the best value from the vouchers.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Yeah then total would be £22.50 - effectively you could use 1x £5 (mail) 2x£2.50 H&B, 5x£1 H&B toiletries, 5x50 pointer, then £7.50 of your choice
Are they on buy 3 get cheapest free? that would be even better.

Basically I would do as above and use a £5 somerfield and a couple of quick reads and pay 50p for the lot - that's if I can get one of my nice cashiers. I do a check now when I go in to see who is on - this decides the level of my shopping:D
  • Way to go annie - theres hope for me yet!

Wow - you were up late last night Annie! Thanks for explaining the vouchers - I really didn't understand it until I saw that.

Do you always buy other stuff too when you go in Tesco's or do you literally walk in and get 22.50's worth of stuff and pay pennies for it?

I've still got a few things on ebay which finish tomorrow night and am looking in to getting some more french translation (it's just finding the time to fit it in). I've not actively been doing anything since last weekend because of this silly bug.

The 3k Challenge starting 6th Jan 07 has now got 8 participants: Annie, jpet, jpwhittle, SoScrooge, freebird65, Wilf 55, Andy R, BangraMonkey.

Does anyone else want to join us?

I think the Gold/Silver/Bronze rating sounds great but would be too hard to coordinate all in one thread.

Off to check ebay sales and get my Dad to put a bid in on something that's got watchers but isn't selling...
