  • So if you use turbo lister you can prepare auctions in advance and upload them quickly when you want them listed, rather than taking time to list each one?

    Does it cost anything?

  • You can do the same thing with the auctiva website.

  • I just found the homepage of it and it's free, so I might try it out. BTW what is Auctiva? I don't know that one.

some of my listings ended on ebay this morning so I am nearing the £30 mark.

None of the things I have bought to see have any bids yet, only one of the items has a watcher. Hope I havent wasted almost £20.00.

At the mo have 92 items listed, 4 of them selling making around £7 - pathetic

I've just trawled through 5 charity shops and came home with only 2 bits- a small L'Occitane gift set (£2) and a rather stylish boxed salt + pepper pot set (£1.50). I was really disappointed in what the shops had to offer- even M&S dresses were priced at £10+ and the only designer labels in there were £30+. Actually there were some GORGEOUS clothes at that sort of price- and well worth it for good designer stuff- but I reminded myself I was there to make money not spend it so managed to resist.

One of my MFN items went for £3.70 on eBay but it looks like I've got myself a non-payer as it's been 5 days now and no response to an invoice or a polite email reminder.... grrrrr!

Still, looking on the bright side I've got a load more stuff in my junk cupboard to sell so will start listing now. My eBay ID is carolinerpink if anyone fancies a look- your constructive criticism is of course welcome x

Auctiva was suggested earlier in this thread - it is completely free. See https://www.auctiva.com - the templates are free and you can add additional photos free of charge. I am sat here today dutifully inputting lots of things to start tomorrow tea-time.

On the charity shop front - I had a good trawl round my local ones in the week and they are sometimes charging 'new' money for things. There is the odd one where you can grab a bargain. I bought a BNWT £85 jacket from Oasis for £12, but it was the only thing that I felt I could resell.

  • Doh! I sold some stuff on ebay on thursday, and also listed 7 other items on their 10p day, and I've just had an invoice from ebay for £5. My stuff only sold for about £12 and some of it only sold for 99p, so by the time I've paid paypal fees and ebay fees, it hasn't really been worth it! Was gutted when I got the invoice though, no idea how it came to that much!
  • oh, and my Jane Norman dress only sold for £2.50, gutted as it's such a lovely dress too, with tags on!

I've listed 4 more items on ebay - 2 of which were free so count towards this challenge - my ebay ID's sarah01235 if anyone wants to have a look and give advice! ;)

I'll try and sort out some more bits to sell today - but I've gone down with a thoart infection and flu this weekend so I don't have much energy :(

Glad to see that everyone's still at it!

    Hi

I had a look at your items... my only two comments would be

    1. I use gallery picture (15p)
    2. when I take a picture of a dress, etc, I put it against white background (a door, a wall, etc.

    Best of luck!

    ;)
