  • what is the best way to photograph furniture (i.e. my coffee table) as i've never had to do it before?

i will be sticking a gallery picture in as it could bring me extra sales so the extra fee will be an investment, (although i don't think whoever buys it will be willing to pay an adminstration fee aka my ebay fees)

Outside on a sunny day should be good.

Unless you have a white painted room with cream carpets in your house.

PS: since you seem to be the only one who is still awake.... could you perhaps look at this item - 300040818987- and let me know your HONEST opinion?

    Cheers
  • The neck ribbon? I have my doubts it would sell for 7 pound, but I could be wrong.

I'd suggest putting more info on the auction for the gold bracelet btw. I haven't heard of 982 before - 925 is sterling silver, 375 is 9 karat gold I think. If it's solid gold or gold filled you'd have more chance of selling it than if it's gold plated.

I also noticed one typo - Rimel instead of Rimmel in the title of one auction and auction details. Not a big difference, but it could mean a difference in getting a sale.

  • Noticed another as well. The title says shoue liners instead of shoe liners. You could also try putting 'insoles' or something like that as well if it's an accurate description.

I have a feeling Benetton might have two ts as well but I'm not sure on that one.

    Good luck with your auctions.

Thanks a lot, Adrasteia01. I reduced the ribbon to £3.99, let's see what happens...

Thanks for pointing the typos too - I must have been pretending to be the fastest typist again

  • I always seem to be hurrying to list as much as possible on the cheap listing days too. I sometimes just put in a word when it's nearing midnight (you can't leave the description blank), and I go back and revise it later. :)

You can change almost all of the auction details on the revision screen. If you changed your mind about selling something, you could just change all of the details to something completely different.

I should get some sleep.. g'night all.

that is useful to know, thank you and good night
  • No problem. That's not to say Ebay would necessarily approve but we have the right to change the details of our listings. :)

I make changes to my auctions sometimes and I've never had any problems.

    Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't been around much recently, have been really busy with Joshua's fund (we're going to be in our local paper about it - they are coming to interview us on Monday - very exciting :j )

Anyway, I am hoping of adding a bit more to my target today through a bit more matched betting. I want to get it up to £400 by the end of today.

I have also got some items finishing on Ebay today so hopefully a profit will be made :D

Well done to everyone for your progress - you are all doing so well :T :T
