waveydave wrote:after posting my bionic man ( sold on ebay see earlier in thread) i had a few pence left over from the postage leaving me total of £35.76 - so i invested that in a TMX elmo which sold today for £66 ( inc postage)
making me a further £10.71 profit after postage and ebay fees
So Far so good and on target i think.
£45.50 from NOTHING :j
Now gotta think what to invest my £45 in lol
Congrats too, hannah2028, a whopping £417.28 :T How did you do it? Please share your money making tips with us!
I'm off the mark whoohoo! - a friend took pity on me and gave me a free book, then another friend of mine bought it for £1! Now, I just have to think how to double it! I joined 2 weeks late - I've only got to make another £7 by next Monday!0 -
Christmasshopper.. love your salt and pepper pots LOL.
They'd be entertaining to have at the table when you invite family over.0 -

Am waiting for a book voucher from pigsback and some bids from ebay too but no luck there yet.
Frugal Fox posts an update to the timetable once a week (sunday or monday I think).
Best thing to do is add your progress to your signature... go here and type in whatever you want, make it pretty colours and put in a smilie or two if you like, press 'save' and you're sorted!!!

Oh Cooltrikerchick......that is just TOOOOO funny!!!
Welcome everyone who'se joining in - the more the merrier and it's never too late as it just takes a little luck to bump up that total.
Can you tell I had a good day? Loads of sales on ebay and OH lost a bet...can't wait to update total ready for Frugal Fox!! Not as huge as some but I'm ahead of target.
Maybe a little biddy bid on those socks......:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

At last, received cheque from FHM this morning.....£27 now on its way to the bank.:T Took some time to arrive (waiting since 04th Oct!). Rang them yesterday to see if it had gone astray in the Post but was reassured by their customer services that due to the recent £10 promotion that there was a huge backlog, Must have been all us MSE'ers cashing in!;)
Anyway....now have cash to spend for the challenge, charity shop trawl turned up a few items for E-Baying so will get them on this weekend.
Just a quick thought though....is it better to wait till Sunday and list for 7 days (listing to start at about 8 in the evening) to get a decent audience or just list them asap and include a Sunday. Reason for asking is I seem to remember someone commenting on E-Bay listing times in a previous post but can't find the post now.0
