Handmade christmas cards - can get a pack of 5 and materials for a quid, and sell them on for at least a quid each card.0

They could do a school newsletter and use their £6 for paper (and the school printer for free!!). They could ask local businesses to buy an ad which would make money and/or sell the newsletter for just 50p each.

A few good ideas there! I'd probably go for a promise auction and/or a quiz or puzzle sheet of some kind (I did a very simple one as a fundraiser a few years ago when the competition was to make as many words as possible out of the letters in the charity's name). They could ask local businesses to donate prizes, possibly in exchange for advertising on the quiz/ comp sheet.0

Thanks folks, there are some great ideas here. It just so happens that we have a building company and another of the girls' parents own a pub. I feel a spot of nepotistic sponsoring coming on!!!!!0

Is it a city school? If so they could buy a small amount of drugs and sell it on in the playground.0

Do you have a costco card? You could go buy some coca-cola bulk then resell in the playground. You could even get them at asda..0
