Not exactly what you asked for - but this recipe works really well with beef shoulder.
- 2 pounds boneless beef roast
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion, quartered
- 16 baby carrots
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1. saut! beef in oil for about 15 mins and season
2. put veg in slow cooker, put meat on top and pour over the soup.
3. cover and put slow cooker on low for 8 to 10 hours stirring once or twice
4. Serve – with the sauce / gravy

Hi charleybabes,
Learning to use a slow cooker is a bit trial and error, depending on what food you like and what model that you have. If you take a look through these threads you should find a recipe that appeals to you, give it a go and if you enjoy it then try something else. In time you will gain confidence to experiment with your slow cooker..
