Oh crikey, look I don't post on here often, and now there's 3 posts in a row! Apologies!
Anyway, can anyone recommend a nice largeish fleecy blanket (maybe the size of a 'double' duvet'). Getting a bit chilly and need to get one for the lounge, for when we're watching TV. Don't really want to have to keep dragging the duvet downstairs.0 -
Finally got my front door curtain up today
It makes the hallway look much nicer and will hold a bit of heat in as its lined.
Also, I have treated myself to a real rabbit fur coat from fleabayIt was an absolute bargain - I cannot believe more people weren't bidding for it! My friend has one and when I saw it last winter, I knew I had to have one too... Just hope I don't get paint thrown over me! Do people still do that?
Has anyone else here got a real fur coat?0 -
Hmm I always assumed it was the same thing
If you're from Kent, you're Kentish, a bit like Cornish, except we don't make pasties as well

Just out of interest what is the difference between a Kentish man (or woman) and a man (or woman) of Kent?
I'm Kent born and bred too - tho now live in the midlands.
It depends whether you are from east kent or west Kent, the divide is roughly the line of the river medway. I am a Maid of Kent as i am from the Isle of Sheppey which is east of the medway. Kentish men (maids) are from the west.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -

My late mum had two beever coats and they are realy nice. I have never got rid of them because in some respect they would probably be destroyed and I often think you should do justice to the animal. I think she got them in the 1950's. Anyway back to question, I have worn them and no one has ever questioned me. I think that it can be a hit and miss affair to tell whether it is real or not, it would need to be someone who had a keen eagle eye to see if it was real. I was in Primarni today and they had allot of coats in with faux fur everywhere so I wouldn't worry. If someone did question just say oh no it's fake - but it's good don't you think!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

I also saw they had their own version of those blankets with arms too in case anyone is interested - I never fancied them, would probably trip and thought I would have a cold back!Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!
