is this something mr T sells please

yes, most of the big supermarkets do, and Lidls. I always take some away in the caravan with us, as dd can only have homemade bread or tin loaf from Asda, due to allergies.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

I have been checking out ice grippers for shoes as I live up several hills and last year it was a nightmare going to work every morning. Food stores don't worry me so such as we have a car, but my husband uses that for work and I bus it. I teeter along like a geisha when the pavements are bad.

i bought some of those this year, they look quite fierce! when we get something to try them on i'll get back to people and let you know how they worked.

oh slightly on subject slightly off... anyone that is a british gas (or scottish gas) customer for gas or electricity it's well worth joining their gas idea factory thing. basically you get emails with an invite to comment on some of their upcoming ideas and every month they give away i think 250 quid in amazon vouchers. i've only participated 4 times now and i just got an email saying i was a runner up and have won 50 quid in amazon vouchers :T just in time for christmas, how nice!

at any rate they seem to be asking questions more frequently now that it's getting colder so if you can join up and haven't now's the time you might get lucky too! :j

I've been wondering about those ice grippers for shoes. My dad is 81 and has parkinsons (not too bad at the moment). No matter what the weather he will insist on walking through snow and ice to fetch a paper (doesn't want them delivered for some reason). I've thought about buying him some for Christmas, but I've seen where they are dangerous if not on ice. I've got visions of him plodding up to the paper shop and forgetting he has them on and breaking his neck on the shop floor.

    What shall I do?

    Please

sure this is the link they sent me in my email, do remember though you MUST be a British Gas customer to take part... i'm not sure this link will do you any good i think it's just a log in page but i see the name of the webpage is slightly different than the name of actual group (well according to my email!) so maybe try googling that or clicking home or something when on the webpage...

    anyway good luck joining up!

EDIT oops! i just noticed it says it's a private community and you have to be invited when you click on the link above. if you're interested i'd call or maybe email british gas and ask if you can join. sorry about that i thought it was open to everyone!
