We got the best deal going direct to Celebrity £350 cheaper than any travel agent on a guarantee aqua cabin

If you are looking to book a cruise in the UK please avoid the travel agent we just returned from a Cunard cruise with we had a horrible experience caused by them don't know if you are allowed to name and shame on here but they are an anagram of reado avoid at all costs you will get a better deal from any other travel agent and not get booked into a backpackers hostel for the same price others have paid for a 4/5 star hotel

you can say what you like as long as it is the truth

always check flight times and hotels before you take any offer, that's what tripadvisor is for.

if you have a deal post it.

even if you have one from a TA you can alsways add the "shop around"

I usualy give the first to email the credit as I have no preference

Sounds good, we are seriously thinking about booking the Russia cruise you mentioned the itinerary is great.

That does sound a great deal though, which itinerary is it? The promo offers are very tempting...

Departing from Harwich, England; Oslo, Norway; Stavanger, Norway; Flam, Norway; Alesund, Norway; Geiranger, Norway; Olden, Norway; Bergen, Norway; Harwich, England

Celebrity have just announced on select European sailings you get all 3 of the 123 Go promo options, so free drinks package, free gratuities and onboard credit from $100-$300 depending on length of cruise.

Am just concerned about booking with TA if celebrity can cause problems for the booking with the offers later down the line.

We definitely prefer the Russia ports but it falls slightly before our dates so could be difficult, we have cruised carnival before and enjoyed it, and I know DD would love it. Just hope if we go for the Celebrity there is enough for her do on there, especially as the ports won't really be that child friendly.

There is also the Princess option as the Crown Princess is down to £599 for our dates but again is the Norway ports.

Just had it confirmed that all options are now included: $300 onboard credit, free gratuities, alcohol drinks package plus $375 on board credit from TA.

Oceanview cabin is guarantee so there is always the chance of an upgrade but to be honest the deal seems great. TA also said if fares drop and they are able to we get lower fare (before final payment).

I make it around £2500 all inclusive for 10 nights for 2 adults 1 child plus $675 to spend onboard on excursions, photos, casino ;) etc. I have to be honest I think it will beat anything we can find for August in the UK or Spain.

Still getting conflicting info as to whether I con book the offer from the UK, I have approached a TA recommended on the dibb so hopefully they will be able to give a definitive answer.

The debate on whether UK residents can get the 123Go promotion has been very active on many threads on Cruise Critics Forum, and Celebrity read this forum for sure. If you are offered this deal and it is in writing, I would go for it. Look at it as a bonus not the reason for taking the cruise, as when onboard it is very possible not to be honoured by Celebrity as it would create a big problem if other brits become aware.

The only sure way to know whether you will get the deal is to contact Celebrity direct and ask the question..... I feel that you know what their answer will be!
  • FloFlo, I emailed https://www.americandiscountcruises.com earlier today and they have replied saying you can definitely get the promotion thro them if you book before 30 April

Thank you so much, have you used them in the past? It is so hard to decide who to go with when it is an overseas agent. Hubby has agreed to book it, DD who I thought might not be so keen has looked at the ship and said she likes it.

I will email them now and see what they can book for me.

Emailed them and waiting their reply, hopefully will be booked tomorrow.

Hubby had a look at ship video and said it looks to posh for us, lol. Hope it won't be! We loved P&O but that was on the Ventura, is Celebrity snooty?

They are also offering free shore excursion on certain sailings, soon they will be paying me to go, lol.

FloFlo, I just had an email confirmation from CabinClearance and they offer $600 on top of the Celebrity offers so their obc and the OBC offered by Celebrity totals $900 plus the drinks package and free tips.

They have quoted me £3500 for 3 people in a balcony cabin on a cruise dep 19/7 plus $900 obc and the tips and drinks package. Not sure how we would spend all that OBC!!

They have quoted me £2500 in an oceanview cabin with a total $675 obc, free gratuities, free beverage package. All we would need to pay extra would be night in Hatwich before cruise and parking. I don't think we could get an AI in Spain for that for 3 in Aug.

A couple of excursions or a few evenings in the casino would soon get rid of that obc.;)

Have you cruised with celebrity before?
