Do you think its when their inventory tells them they only have X units left across the board or do you think its a month/2 months after RTC process starts? I've seen some RTC items today that i will be watching intently!!

I think it's probably a combination of what the product is, how much stock, what the sell by date is etc.

Did the Lindt balls work ok for you, as I found about 8 packs alongside the eggs and were definitely the ones identified on here as b/code oversticker ended in 8043 1p and were round balls with bbe 03/12 and they came up at £2, even the packaging matched what was on here - I made my excuses and left them! This was in Alfr3ton store. Maybe they've just locally changed the price - wouldn't surprise me as they're sh*t hot there. Always mark your receipt with JTD etc.

this is because the store have price corrected the balls - this happened in my local store. I have two stores within 2 miles, in one store the lindor scans at 1p and in the other £2.00 - both have the bar code ending 8043. HTH

things generally get marked down to 1p 12 weeks after an event has finished and the idea behind why they go 1p is so then can record it on the waste and throw it in the compactor (this way it has minimal inpact on stores waste budgets)... however some items often slip through the net and welcome the 1p find thread.

Got a childrens 3 piece cutlery set in Tesco today. Pink plastic handles in a box , knife, for, spoon, suitable for small childrens. Pink with a heart motif on each handle. Found on its own on the cutlery shelf.

I just did a tester by buying one and hey bingo 1p:j DD got some and I went back in for some more went through SS there was an assistant watching but he didnt seem to bother us even though he was in front of his screen. We left loads for other MSErs happy 1p glitching!!!:j
