Disney Princess Stockings barcode 5026418043922 - filled with sweets, games & surprises, on clippa strips marked at £2 scanned for 1p this am @ E@stb%urne extra. Went thru a manned till with the 1st one and the SA queried it but let it go, so nipped back in and grabbed a few more for party bags but went thru SS.

Thorntons Mint Collection box of chocolates 316g

My first 1p bargain ever!

Another customer tipped me off at the checkout as he had the red Thorntons box which was also 1p, but two Tesco managers were vigoursly removing all of the red boxes from the shelves when I went over and told me they were not for sale anymore.

They didn't stop me from buying the mint ones though!

I got two new 1p finds today

75g Maltesers
75g Milky Way Magic Stars

Both are in rectangular gift cartons and look like stocking fillers to me

And on top of that I also got 2 more bags of lindt balls but thats old news by now

Interesting to hear the Purple bars are 1p now. I wonder if the same goes for Aero Trees, Cadbury Wishes and Galaxy Gift bars as these were all being sold off in my express at 65p each or 2 for £1 not long ago. Makes me think they regarded all that stock as xmas stock and it was just the last to be reduced down

Edit: Cadbury Wishes are still scanning at 65p as of 9/3/12

I had a look today for the Thorntons chocolates mentioned above. No luck with that, but whilst rummaging amongst the various chocolate boxes I did have a bumper 1p find that made stopping off before work worthwhile.

I think most of this will be new to the thread (admittedly a couple may not be)
