Just got my first ever DTD at Knocknagoney store Belfast
They have the black stripey glasses still stickered 4 for £3 but SEL states 6 for £6 so got £4.16 back. They must have just got them in as I hadn't seen them there before.
Lovely SA gave me DTD and told me thats what he was doing, I acted all surprised. When we left my son told me I was a very good actress!

They also had the Dad and Grandad socks for 25p on the top rail of the mens socks but only a few at the back were priced as such. HTH someone.

Trust me - they've been there for quite a while as I've been getting them for weeks. Didn't see the socks there so well spotted :T

I gave a heap of the 1p kids cereal bars to someone to take to give to his friends kids because he always felt guilty that he couldn't afford anything to take round for them. The lazy fat bu66er ate them all himself. People like him put me off giving. :(

This talk about giving out surplus makes me think about the Trussell Trust that was featured on the Tonight programme last week. They set up local foodbanks to help people who really need them.

My Tesco had a trolley near the entrance for donations to the foodbank, so I got the free spam with intentions of donating it only the trolley has now gone. Its still in my car boot as no-one in this house will eat it!

Was in Mansfield Jubilee today and saw a pack of 3 shuttlecocks for 3p, so 1p each.

They were on a clip strip with the sports stuff.

Not sure where they will be tomorrow as the aisle was been stripped for the move into their new extension tomorrow.

clairaay - You should have got 5, it might have knocked off the discount it would normally do. One thing it wouldn't do is put the price up.
