:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I thought they meant they'd been charged £11 something for one packet!!! OMG how divvy of me:o Was trying to quickly catch up in between making lunch.

When I read your response, I realised that what was you had thought, I didn't word it very well.... sorry :o I said she counted the packs and scanned one, I should have said she counted and scanned 8 x 1 pack (or something like that). :)

I was sooooo annoyed that I was in too much of a rush to run back in and grab more last night when they scanned at 22p  Is it wise to presume that they will scan at £1.45 everywhere now?

EDIT: Ignore the last question, just read back and seen that they are scanning at full price in lots of places :(

oh well, what else can we find? I got some socks the other day, sure they weren't there before, kiddies ones with chicks and rabbits, scan at 25p as per prev op, thanks.

Oh yes, found some belgian chocs in the green box, not only were they £5 per box they had put them back after reducing them the other week and they are out of date.
Told customer services, made a point of saying they were previously reduced and now they are out of date they are a fiver, even they thought it was bad.
Also mentioned that when I approached the store manager he ran off with a phone pressed his ear, another useless lump.....managed to hear the conversation, he was slagging off the previous manager. Southend store hang your head in shame.

Having been a code checker in a previous life I have an eye for noticing out of date food. At tescos I have bought it, mysteriously noticed it after purchasing it and gone to CS whilst still instore, and I normally get a replacement and refund :)

How lovely of you to say such a thing. Coincidentally one of the non-contributers to this thread (aside from telling us there's some strawberry tarts in your local store back in June...) - speaks volumes, I think.

Awww did the 3 posts relating to Amy Winehouse (not Amy Whatever) make the thread that hard for you to keep up? It's not up to you what gets mentioned on this thread and your comment comes across as particularly nasty. I wasn't a fan of hers but she had family & friends yet your concern is having to skim over 3 very short posts on the topic.

Never found a single packet of chilli nuts in Royston, and I check religiously. Still, at least my couscous mountain continues to grow...(sadly not for 1p though, but as 34p a packet I am not complaining and it's lovely stuff)

So own up, who kept on clearing Royston out of chilli nuts? :D

Hi, what is the coucous deal? Thanks.
