I also picked up chilli nuts in an extra today and they were back to 1.39 so another one bites the dust.

Absolutely right ! No SEL at all in my store earlier today - but when I had them checked, they scanned at the full price of £1.45 (or thereabouts). Good job I've still got a few packs left from earlier in the month.

Never found a single packet of chilli nuts in Royston, and I check religiously. Still, at least my couscous mountain continues to grow...(sadly not for 1p though, but as 34p a packet I am not complaining and it's lovely stuff)

So own up, who kept on clearing Royston out of chilli nuts?

oh well, what else can we find? I got some socks the other day, sure they weren't there before, kiddies ones with chicks and rabbits, scan at 25p as per prev op, thanks.

Oh yes, found some belgian chocs in the green box, not only were they £5 per box they had put them back after reducing them the other week and they are out of date.
Told customer services, made a point of saying they were previously reduced and now they are out of date they are a fiver, even they thought it was bad.
Also mentioned that when I approached the store manager he ran off with a phone pressed his ear, another useless lump.....managed to hear the conversation, he was slagging off the previous manager. Southend store hang your head in shame.
