I'm 29 and it's become a bit of a hobby for me too! checking links at work and definately before leaving the house just incase I need to nip to tesco first!

Another 12 Roses for me today to add to yesterdays 15 and the previous 65 or so.

Looks like they will be going to the teachers at the end of term!!


One complaint though... they are all basically the same chocolate... how anyone in their right mind ever paid £1.32 for them is beyond me.

I have just had the most awful experience...

I am an avid reader of this but never post because I always forget my password, but I needed to post this one.

Today I was chuffed to find some Roses, scanned 18 boxes through and some other shopping, was about to pay (card in hand) and someone came over and said YOU CAN'T BUY THOSE. NOT FOR 1P.

The floor manager came and took my already packed shopping away and cancelled the transaction. He said all he could do was to call the manager- and so I waited, and she looked bemused and said they couldn't sell them to me. -was advised that I could complain to customer services in Dundee. -and I might!

In the end I walked out empty handed- left the rest of the shopping.
Hope you all have better luck!!

the metal pencil cases were taken off me, and was told, they aint "on file" so they have to go in the bin :eek::eek:.

I always now tend to just scan em all through self scan and pay asap and not buy much else as just increases risk i think, best to be prompt just incase and try to make sure the staff are busy, seams to vary gretaly on stores knowone ever says anything to me. I may just pay for them from now on then buy then do rest shop as seperate transaction

Laura cell, samething happened to my brother this morning. One of the SA said to him "this is not China we don't sell stuff for 1p". He then asked if he could call the manager, the manager was called and she said we cant sell it to you for 1p. My brother told her that the SA was rude to him by saying stuff about china and she started laughing... my brother lost it and started swearing. The security was called and he started grabbing and tackling him. He was taken to the office and police were called. They didn't do anything and now he has been banned from Tescos for 6months. I have SIA and I have never ever touched a person and we're not supposed to do that why do Tesco security staff touch people let alone tackle them? Well 40mins after the ban he went to another tesco 4 miles away and got 12 roses.:rotfl:He thinks there's no point complaining about the tackling bit and security grabbing him because he was swearing at them as well but I think he has every right to complain to the head office.

i 26 tend to check whenever i in the vicinity lool to check, not great idea as walking makes me to exhausted with illness i got. I did have some more but ate them

id so love to get my hand son truffles etc seam dif areas have diff products mine seams have nuts, harpics and roses nothing else
