    if thats true that is so sad and emabarrassing that they need to employ someone to check a money saving website to help identify their own pricing errors and glitches
    unbelievable!

    hello mr T:wave::dance::naughty:
    don't worry we are too clever for you and makes us want to screw you over even more

    kimbug, try early morning before 9am
    also surely this employee can't be sat on the 1p thread all day, alot of glitches last only a couple of hrs but the 1p finds are different and you do have to be quick off the mark whichever store you try

    good luck and don't give up

    :eek::mad: She sounds like a right trout, she really must be fishing (only actually realised the pun after typing this!) for a promotion, but in my experience promotions don't go to trouty jobsworths because they are clearly desperate for power so she'd be better keeping her mouth shut and snapping up a few 1p bargains herself!

    Why isn't your store in the price check scheme? I thought they all were.

    I have not been to tesco at all today! There didn't seem to be anything worth going for, hopefully we will have a good glitch or 1p find tomorrow :)

    Evening ALL, :D really enjoy reading all the stories on here, this one is my contribution.

    It has previously been mentioned but further confirmation on the cheap WATER GUN, bar code 5052319324099 scanned at £1.
    Newer stock has different code ending in 192. (I think thats the one mentioned on pennyitems, but probably scans at the SEL price of £5?) The guns are no different!
    I got the last 099 one on the shelf in one of the Norwich stores and have also checked the other that only have newer stock.

    My fun today....... got 'trouted' for price checking and requesting item to be cancelled at self scanner.... (well with no store self scanners and a queue at every till what else could I do?) So I opted for not self scanning my tray of 9 Roses........ Spotted a pleasent looking young lad on far end till, who nearly fell off his stool when I paid 59p cash for 2 x 650ml fairy liquid, (yes, I also had the £1 off each,) and my choccies. My face probably looked something like this... :o Bless him for not saying a word.

    After these went in car I returned for 2x lenor and 2x ariel stain remover, and paid with £3.58 cash and £6 worth of vouchers. If i'm not mistaken that receipt should also result in £3+ of RTD :j

    Thanks Mr T! :T This is getting more fun every day! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
