1p items should be removed from the shelves and scrapped from the stores stock. They are often given away to staff or like our store they gave them away for a small charity donation. Don't moan just be glad you found some!

I've not been lucky enough to find any 1p items since the cheese sauces. Certainly no chocolate, mexicorn or rim blocks. So nothing to shout about I'm afraid!

1p items should be be removed from the shelves, but they have not and since they have not and have been left out for sale, then that is what should happen to them. Instead customers get to the checkout with purchases, with the possibility of being refused the sale, and on some occasions with a big fuss and embarrassing public display being made!

I think anyone who has been shown up and made to feel awkward and embarrassed just for shopping, by a jobsworth, gestapo trout or a manger, is well entiteld to be aggrieved (couldn't imagine the staff in Waitrose speaking to customers the way that some staff do in Tesco).

It's time Tesco got their 1p act together or sold off items at a properly reduced rate.

WH Smith get 1p items and use to just throw them away (or staff would have them), now policy is to send any stock to the nearest clearence store. (although staff still get some good bits if the manager is nice enough lol)

i think we should all move to the north so we can get the penny items....:rotfl::rotfl:

i think that down in the south, south east, s.west, ppl buy everything on the shelves so thats why we dont have left over to turn it to 1p:(:rotfl::rotfl:

me too... not much to be had at tescos the meadows, sandhurst
so far i have got
12 harpics from there for 12p each
9 roses 1p each
1 strawberry tarte for 50p instead of 3 pounds

from tesco express ancells farm fleet i got 4 packs of the nuts for 22p...

i really wanted the sharwoods noodles and the chicken and bacon pasta bake but searched all around and none around here at all.. have you found anything in reading?

Find some more 1p Roses but unfortunately the till I sued was next to the SA and she spotted me and refused to sell them to me. She was nice enough but no chocolate for me...

Never mind you can't win every time. But now the shelf is empty. I'll have to look somewhere else.

Instead I settled for free Lenor and Stain remover using my coupons.
